Handmade Paul Stankard Glass Orb - Amazing Unique Piece "James Joyce in a Potato Orb" - 2007 This gorgeous one-of-a-kind orb by Paul J. Stankard is approximately 3" in diameter. The bouquet of flowers contains two white Morning Glories with orange stripes, two Pineland Pickerel Weed flowers, as well as some small white flowers and blueberries. Also included in this bouquet is a potato made by Loren Stump. The potato is cut open so that the inside is exposed, and inside is a portrait of James Joyce. The entire design is encased in clear crystal, of which a portion is colored black. The dark area gives the inside depth and definition when viewed from certain angles. The sphere also has a tiny cursive "P Stankard" signature cane tucked into a light green stem.
